I participated as a gymnast in the Olympic Games in Seoul 1988 and I was the head coach of the Spanish national men’s artistic gymnastics team between 2003 and 2013. During that time I helped the Spanish team qualify for the Olympic Games of Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and London 2012, and also get two of Gervasio Deferr’s Olympic medals, among other good results.
Between 2015 and 2018 I was the technical director of the Federació Catalana de Gimnàstica and worked as a gymnastics coach in the High Performance Sports Centre in Sant Cugat (Barcelona).
In 2019 I was the head coach of the FENAGICHI, the gymnastics governing body affiliated to the FIG in Chile, during their preparation of the South American Gymnastics Championships and the Panamerican Games.
I continue working with clubs, sports entities and gymnasts from Spain and other places.
